Direct Therapy

Direct therapy or ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy is where your child directly works with the behavior technician on goals outlined in your child’s treatment plan. This could look like labeling items, asking for things they want, washing hands, having a conversation or learning to play with other kids. Direct therapy is catered to meet your child’s specific needs so it looks different across children. Progress will also look different across children but one key influence is consistency.
